Roll with the punches = 隨遇而安; 順勢退讓
是拳擊說法，這句話是指當有人一拳揮過來時(punch)，不要硬用身體把它擋下來，而要將身體轉動(roll)以減低傷害，也就是「逆來順受、面對困境以減少挫折所帶來的衝擊力」
所以 roll with the punches, tomorrow is another day. 可以翻為「逆來順受 (面對困境)，明天又是嶄新的一天」。
